Enviro-Houses
The housing industry is leaning more and more in a green direction. There are so many interesting environmentally friendly housing alternatives being produced these days, that we see it fit to dedicate a slot in our blog posts about these brilliant places. House are being made from mud, to pop bottles, and back again; something we expect to see more and more of. So why not track this progression?! Without further ado, we present to you with our first edition of Enviro-Houses.
Located in Costa Rica, there is a 100% sustainable eco-house. Isolated from the possibilities of power, sanitation, and other modernized sustainability methods, this household was designed to be sustained by the environment surrounding it. Water is derived from rain (while also being used as a source of power), while the roof covered in solar panels provides the majority of electricity and heating of their water.
